A second chance to enjoy our celebration of Bohemian London: A Night in Fitzrovia.
For decades, the area to the west of Tottenham Court Road attracted London’s best-known artists, radicals, free-thinkers and eccentrics. Dylan Thomas, Augustus John, Ottoline Morrell, Brendan Behan, Nina Hamnett, Shelley, Tom Paine, the Sex Pistols, Daniel Defoe, Bob Dylan, Aleister Crowley, Dr Johnson and Tommy Cooper all made their mark.
We’ll be celebrating their adventures and achievements in a night of readings, anecdotes and live music at the Earl Haig Hall, Elder Avenue, London N8 on Tuesday March 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 from:
